Webster included in Forbes Magazine’s Ranking of America’s Best Colleges

Webster University ranks among America's best colleges, according to a report released August 2011by Forbes magazine. This is the second year in a row that Webster has been included in the Forbes list. Now in its fourth year, the Forbes "America's Top Colleges" ranking is based on five categories: postgraduate success, student satisfaction, student debt, four-year graduation rate and competitive awards.

According to Forbes, its ranking includes 650 schools, representing the top 20 percent of all undergraduate institutions in the United States. The magazine said its ranking "focuses on the things that matter the most to students: quality of teaching, great career prospects, graduation rates and low levels of debt." Forbes said its ranking ignores ephemeral measures and instead evaluates the college purchase as a consumer would.
