Bachelor (BA, BS) The bachelor's degree is the primary undergraduate university degree in the American system of education. Webster University Vienna offers the bachelor of arts (BA) and bachelor of science (BS) degrees. The Webster University undergraduate degree program requires successful completion of 128 credit hours of academic work. This corresponds to approximately 43 courses.
The bachelor's degree normally takes 4 years to complete, but students who have diplomas such as the Austrian matura or the international baccalaureate (IB), who have taken advanced placement exams, or who have completed university-level coursework at another accredited university can have official documentation of this work evaluated for transfer credit toward Webster degree requirements and thereby complete the Webster degree in less time.
All new students are required to complete the Global Citizenship Program as a part of their degree. The mission of the Global Citizenship Program is to ensure that every undergraduate emerges from Webster University with the core competencies required for responsible global citizenship in the 21st century.
