Congratulations all graduates!

The graduation weekend in Vienna was fantastic and filled with events to honor and celebrate our graduating students. On Friday the 11^th of May the Honors Convocation Cocktail was held at Palais Eschenbach (photos at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/webstervienna/sets/72157629736934610/). It was really moving moment when we recognized our very best students in front of their proud families.

The Commencement Ceremony took place in the Wiener Konzerthaus and was attended by over 600 guests, cheering for our 105 graduating students. The speeches by our teaching award winners, the Academic director, Dr. Kecht, in her presentations of the service award winners, the students, and last but not least our Keynote speaker, Mr. Felix Thun-Hohenstein, Director of 3M, each added a different dimension that captured the ethos and spirit of Webster.

The graduation weekend ended with the Alumni & Graduation Cocktail at “Aux Gazelles”. Over 350 alumni, graduates, parents & families of graduates, faculty and staff attended this unique event. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet and talk to many of our successful alumni, some who are now living in other countries, but came to Vienna especially for this event.

As we close the chapter on the 2011/12 academic year, this graduation weekend reminded us all of what Webster is all about and what makes Webster such a special and unique learning environment.
