On May 12, 2012 Webster University welcomed 137 new graduates to the Alumni Association and invited them to celebrate their achievements with the whole Webster community at the beautiful Aux Gazelles in Vienna’s sixth district.  Over 350 students, staff, faculty and alumni gathered to toast the new graduates, reunite with old friends and colleagues, and enjoy delicious food and great conversation.

The theme for the event was “Changes and Transitions,” highlighting the transitional nature of graduation and celebrating the exciting changes happening in the lives of all new graduates.  An art exhibit with this theme added a special element to the evening and featured works by both current and graduating students.  The exhibition highlighted the work of the Art and Visual Culture Department and included an introduction by Professor Michael Schneider who presented the works and said a few words about the theme of the night.

The event was a huge success and we want to thank everyone who contributed: the student volunteers, the artists, staff members, our sponsor Wüstenrot, and of course everyone who attended.
