The Webster Alumni Association has been connecting graduates to one another and to their alma mater since 1923. The Vienna Chapter of the Alumni Association was established in 2005. It is organized by a group of highly involved individuals and alumni. They seek to help alumni worldwide to stay in touch with each other and the University, to provide alumni with professional and social networking opportunities, and to bring alumni together with current students and faculty.
Stefano Cantini, MA ‘94, President and Angelica Vuzem-de la Rosa, BA ‘85, Vice President of the Chapter actively promote the following goals of the Alumni Association in Vienna:
- Strengthen the ties between Webster Vienna alumni by organizing regular events.
- Unite alumni interested in the accomplishments and the future progress of Webster University.
- Welcome new alumni to the area, recognize and encourage outstanding alumni.
- Assist in recruiting qualified students to Webster University.
- Support development activities of Webster Vienna focusing on the educational programs.
The Vienna Chapter President and Vice President are supported by Dr. Barbara Pramboeck, Alumni & Student Community Coordinator, and Anna Ganovszky, MA '10, Department Head of Alumni & Development Programs.
Webster Vienna actively stays in touch with alumni through the AlumNews, a special alumni magazine as well as a monthly electronic newsletter. Vienna alumni also have access to Webster's worldwide network of alumni through the Alumni Online Community. Alumni can reconnect with former classmates, find alumni in a particular field and post their own personal and professional accomplishments. Alumni can even sign-up for their own permanent, life-long webster.edu e-mail address free of charge.
