eBay in Zurich, Switzerland, is looking for an intern for their EU BFRA team. Europe Internet Marketing is in charge of eBay Europe online investments in order to promote each eBay European site. The EU BFRA team owns Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting and Analytics across all of the Internet Marketing channels. Among Europe Internet Marketing, the Europe BFRA Budgeting and Systems Intern assists the Manager EU Planning and BFRA as well as the EU BFRA Lead in budgeting processes and reporting systems which are key to the successful functioning of this critical business area.
Responsibilities
1) Budgeting Operations:
- Support BFRA lead and liaise with Finance counterparts in critical budgeting operations
- Take ownership of existing operations and suggest improvements where possible
2) Systems Operations:
- Assist enhancements to the reporting system which holds relevant performance data for the EU Internet Marketing teams
- Work with technical and analytics teams to solve tracking issues and reflect latest methodologies
- Interact with 3rd party developers on defining reporting system enhancements
3) Cross Channel:
- Support other IM channels with needs in reporting, competitive analysis and other ad hoc needs
Candidate Profile
- Graduate Program of Leading Business / Management / Engineering Schools (Bachelors Degree required)
- Outstanding analytical sills, strong Excel skills, knowledge of Access preferred
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent relationship skills
- Perfectly fluent English (written and oral) / other European languages will be a plus (German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch)
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
- Internet experience (internship) will be a plus
- Strong willingness to work within international cultural environments
