Exhibition of Alumna Eva Petrić in Salzburg
See Eva's work of art until end of July 2010
If you manage to come to Salzburg until the end of July, Eva Petrić, BA '05, cordially invites all Webster Alumni to the Galerie im Traklhaus right in the center of the old town at Wagplatz 1a. There she is participating in the exhibition DIE NÄCHSTE GENERATION I PLURALISMUS KÜNSTLERISCHER AUSDRUCKS-MÖGLICHKEITEN together with four other young Austrian artists. Eva was invited to take part in this exhibition right after she received the 2010 Vordemberge-Gidewart Award. The Vordemberge-Gildewart Foundation, based in Lachen, Switzerland, is named after Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart (1899-1962), a German concrete and constructivist artist. In accordance with his will, the Foundation awards grants to visual artists under 35 throughout Europe. The award winner is selected by an international jury consisting of renowned artists, art historians and critics, experts on contemporary trends in art, museum curators and gallerists. So if you haven't manage to see Eva's work, which brought her this prestigious prize at the City Art Museum in Ljubljana, you now have another chance in Salzburg.
