Professional Development Center

The Professional Development Center (PDC) at Webster University is the executive training institute of the University. It was founded in 1993 to complement the University's MBA program by offering management training seminars on a not-for-academic-credit basis. The PDC specializes in tailor-made programs of seminars for firms. As a university institution, we understand the importance of a solid basis in theory for our skills-oriented seminars and the importance of content integration among individual seminars in a program. We have years of experience designing curricula for firms.

The PDC is located on the University campus. Many of our trainers also teach at Webster University in Vienna and its other international locations, as well as other universities. All trainers are focused on skills development - showing seminar participants how to put the theory into practice. They have taught these skills all over the globe to business people from dozens of cultures. And they now bring this wealth of know-how and experience to your firm.

Helping you design training programs is their strength. Mastering Leadership is a program specially designed for executives and top managers, in recognition of the fact that organizations need their managers to be leaders. Using the Dimensional Model© developed by Psychological Associates, Inc., executives and managers are taught how to lead and motivate others.  What the participants learn becomes part of your business culture.

The Standard Seminars for firms are suited for situations when an entire program is not required. These seminars are adapted to your organization through case studies and examples and are also interactive and skill-oriented. More...
