On Wednesday, January 30, 2013 Webster was pleased to host a guest lecture by Victoria Koster-Lenhardt on the topic of “Women in Leadership.” Victoria has worked at The Coca-Cola Company for 21 years as a manager within the IT and Communications departments. While based in Vienna, Victoria grew as a leader in her company and in her profession, across Europe and within the USA.

On November 8, 2012 Webster University Vienna was honored to have U.S. Ambassador William Eacho on campus to speak on issues related to the U.S presidential election. The ambassador talked on a broad range of topics including how the results of the U.S. general election (held on November 6, 2012) would affect U.S.

Alumni Leaders Conference 2012

Every year the Webster University Alumni Association invites approximately fifty of its top Alumni Chapter leaders from around the world to meet with program staff to discuss best practices of running and organizing alumni chapters.  The Vienna Chapter was honored to co-host this year’s event in Vienna and Prague, offering the international leaders a chance to tour the Vienna Campus and meet many of our local alumni.

Alexandra Ungern-Sternberg Prufer, BA '11 is a founding member of The Sucuri Project, a cultural event sponsored by Brazilian artists living and working in Austria and Brazil. The project consists of a series of preparatory workshops to promote the exchange of experiences between the artists, followed by an exhibition.

Alumni Cocktail and Graduation Celebration 2012

On May 12, 2012 Webster University welcomed 137 new graduates to the Alumni Association and invited them to celebrate their achievements with the whole Webster community at the beautiful Aux Gazelles in Vienna’s sixth district.  Over 350 students, staff, faculty and alumni gathered to toast the new graduates, reunite with old friends and colleagues, and enjoy delicious food and great conversation.
