At the conclusion of the summer course ART 2020-Studio Seminar: Book Art which was conducted by Thomas K. Lang and Michael Schneider with the assistance of Elisabeth Parth, students enrolled in the course prepared an exhibition of their final projects. During the final discussion of the exhibition they used colored stickers as a means to comment on the success of each project. The color codes were indicators of craftsmanship, originality, thoughtfulness (concept), and degree of risk.
Art Dep. Head and Academic Advisor B. Hillerman retires
After 26 years of service at Webster University Vienna, our beloved Undergraduate Advisor and Art Department Head, Barbara Hillerman, will not only be retiring but also moving back to the United States to marry her high school sweetheart.
Webster combined Barbara's farewell party with the opening of her photographic art exhibition “I on the street”. Over 75 people came to an evening that had it all: laugh- out-loud presentations, sumptuous buffet, teary eyes, warmth and a very, very happy Barbara.
To put it in her own words:
