Delta Mu Delta

In 2008 the School of Business and Technology (SBT), Webster University, received a specialized accreditation for its Business and Management programs from the Association for Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).  With this accreditation, the SBT became eligible for a Delta Mu Delta Charter. Only business schools with ACBSP accreditation may join this prestigious organization. Students with outstanding academic records can become members of the Society.

Delta Mu Delta (DMD) is a business honors society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities to create a DMD community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership. The purposes of Delta Mu Delta are to promote higher scholarship in training for business and to recognize and reward scholastic attainment in business subjects.

Our Lambda Kappa Chapter was founded in spring 2009 and currently enjoys the participation of 18 students and graduates. Our mission is to provide a networking platform and assist students in making their career choices. Activities will range from simple tasks such as how to formulate a professional CV to questions regarding specific career branches answered by featured guest speakers.  We plan to form a partnership with the Webster Alumni Association in order to advance our Webster Alumni Mentoring Program where Alumni can coach future graduates. We are still very much at the beginning of this process and look forward to your involvement.
