In September 2011 Webster University, Vienna Art research faculty member Michael Schneider participated in an exhibition, “Chinese – Austrian Printed Graphic Works” at the Shanghai Hongqiao Contemporary Art Museum in Shanghai, China.

The exhibition coincides with the “Year of Printed Graphic Works” in China, and features graphic art by leading contemporary artists from Austria and China. Schneider was a co-organizer of the exhibition, and also curated the Austrian contributions, led the delegation and held a lecture at a symposium.

A catalog, to which Schneider also contributed, accompanied the exhibit, which ran from Sept. 8 – 16, 2011.
