Background and Facts
Dr. Hadley worked as an attorney in Washington D.C. before joining the U.S. Foreign Service. He served in diplomatic posts in Africa, Europe and the Middle East for 26 years. He is now a consultant and independent scholar researching the miltiary and diplomatic relations between Germany and Austria-Hungary. Part of his research was presented as a paper to the Annual Conference of the German Studies Association in 2006.
