Background and Facts

Mrs. Pacek holds a master’s degree (MPhil) in Psychology of Education from the University of Cambridge (in the specialist area “The Psychological Investigation of Intellectual Development”). Before going to Cambridge she graduated with multiple honors at Webster University, majoring in Psychology.

In the past, Mrs. Pacek was People Value Management Consultant with Hewitt Associates (USA) in Vienna. She was a member of the Organisational Effectiveness division for Central & Eastern Europe and Austria. In her consulting capacity she worked with multinational corporations providing advice and workshops on the following key “soft skills” topics: Leadership skills, Motivation, Managing change, Performance management, Interpersonal communications, Conflict management, Emotional intelligence in business.

Mrs. Pacek has been Representative CEE in Vienna for the Center for Creative Leadership (USA) since 2004. She coordinated and conducted Emerging Leaders Research throughout Europe –achieving the largest number of corporate participants of any region in the world at the CCL, and has been presenting USA and European findings at selected client meetings and conferences. During the process of EL research she developed business relationships with leading international companies.

Currently, she is working with the Global Voice of Leadership team to develop a new product for developing Emerging Leaders in Central and Eastern Europe and on the newest CCL research, Careers in 21st Century. Since 1997 she has also been teaching Management Psychology at the Austrian University for Hotel Management and Tourism (MODUL) in Vienna. Since 2002, she has been lecturing various courses at Webster University.

In her free time she enjoys composing piano music, painting, reading, and travelling. She is married and has a daughter.
