PSYC4900 Senior Overview
The senior overview provides an opportunity for seniors to demonstrate their proficiency in a selected area of psychology. This seminar is designed to be a capstone experience in the major and should be taken towards the end of the studies. The purpose of the course is for students to demonstrate an integration of their learning/knowledge in the discipline. Course topics vary each semester.
Recent topics included: Gestalt Therapy; Psychoanalysis - Theory and Practice; Psychology of Decision Making; Family Therapy; Psychology of Psychosis; Forensic Psychology; Positive Psychology; Solution Oriented Counseling.
Prerequisite: PSYC 1100, PSYC 2825 and 9 credit hours of psychology, or permission of the instructor.
