Master of Arts/Master of Science

An MA or MS allows students to sharpen their skills and develop their knowledge in a practical, specialized concentration. Each concentration comprises 7 to 9 core courses supplemented by 3 to 5 elective courses. Full-time students should plan on 15 to 18 months of study while part-time students can pace their programs to meet the demands of their personal and professional lives. Students may choose to write a thesis as part of their studies. MS in Finance students who have no academic background in accounting, economics, and/or statistics may be required to take up to 2 prerequisite courses in these subjects.

Master of Business Administration

For career-minded adults who wish to enhance their professional development, the Webster MBA program offers a rigorous, comprehensive business education. The Webster MBA recognizes that three criteria are essential for thriving in the global economy:

Concepts – knowing what the leading edge ideas are
Competence – implementation of those ideas

Connections – access to a world-wide network of alumni and faculty with whom to exchange information and experiences


Full-time students can complete the MBA without emphasis (12 courses) in 15 to 18 months. An MBA with in an emphasis will take 18 to 24 months (16 to 18 courses). Part-time students can pace their programs to meet the demands of their personal and professional lives. Students who have no academic background in business, economics and accounting may be required to take up to 3 prerequisite courses.
