Scope of the Notice

We want to interact and communicate with you using the platforms that are the most convenient for you. This is why we use the technical platform and services of Facebook (provider Europe: Facebook Ireland Limited., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland). This Privacy Notice applies to the collection, use, and retention (“processing”) of Personal Information collected via the use of our Facebook page, including any information transferred outside of the EEA or Switzerland, which identifies, or can be used by us or on our behalf to identify, an individual (“Personal Information”).

How your Information is Collected and Processed

If you use our Facebook page and its features, Facebook u. a collects your IP address and other information in the form of cookies on your PC. Cookies are tiny files that are downloaded to your device in order to improve your experience. This information is used by Facebook to provide us as the operator of the Facebook page with anonymous statistical information on the use of our Facebook page.

The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Facebook and, where appropriate, transferred to countries outside the European Union. The Legal Bases for Processing Your Personal Information

Our legal basis for processing the information collected via our Fan Page, namely the anonymous statistical information on the use of our Facebook page that we receive from Facebook, is a justified legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6 (1) (1) (f) GDPR. How to Disable Cookies

If you are currently logged in as a user on Facebook, there is a cookie with your Facebook ID on your device. As a result, Facebook is able to understand that you visited our Facebook page and how you used it. In addition Facebook can collect information about websites you visit via webpages with integrated Facebook buttons and plugins. Based on this information, Facebook can tailor the content and advertising to suit you. If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook and deactivate the “stay logged-in” feature on your device. In addition you should deactivate cookies on your bowser (see help on your browser for more information on how to do this).

You can also adjust what information Facebook collects about you through your Facebook Account Privacy Settings and Ad settings.

Your rights with respect to your personal information

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have the following rights:

  • To obtain access to the Personal Information that we hold about you;
  • To object on grounds relating to your particular situation to our processing activities where you feel they have a disproportionate impact on your interests, rights, and freedoms;
  • If you believe that the Personal Information we possess is, or has become, incorrect or is incomplete, you may request to review, revise, correct, or update any of the Personal Information we may have about you free of charge;
  • To restrict the processing activities related to your Personal Information (and, where our processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent, without affecting the lawfulness of our processing based on consent before its withdrawal);
  • To have your Personal Information erased;
  • To have Personal Information, which you have voluntarily provided to us, produced in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, including for the purpose of transmitting it to another party; and
  • To require us not to send you marketing communication.

Please note that the above individual rights are not absolute, and we may be entitled to refuse requests where certain exceptions apply.

Webster reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, remove, or otherwise revise portions of our policies and this Privacy Notice at any time, consistent with the requirements of applicable law. When we do, we will post the revision(s) on our website. If we change the Privacy Notice in a material way, we will provide appropriate notice to you.
