KPMG Austria Joins Webster Vienna Students for Career Lunch

KPMG Austria Fall WVPU Lunch

Webster Vienna Private University’s (WVPU) career services team, in collaboration with KPMG Austria, recently hosted a working lunch and round of interviews for students at the Vienna campus.

The KPMG team was represented by Armin Kammel, senior manager, financial services advisory and adjunct faculty at WVPU; Alexandra Sirlinger, recruiting and employer branding; and Victoria Steidl, senior associate, financial services advisory.

Recent WVPU graduate Alissa Trukhanova is working as an intern for KPMG Austria and joined the representatives at this campus event. Trukhanova shared her experience about the hiring process, tips for balancing studies for a master's degree while working as an intern, and how she learned German in order to work for KPMG Austria.

At the November lunch, KPMG Austria provided Webster Vienna students with an overview of what life is like working for a global corporation; possible career paths based on their interests; and tips for a successful application process for an internship. Students were allotted 15-minute time slots to conduct informational interviews with members of the KPMG team.
