WVPU Launches New Law Department Led by Prof. Kammel

Webster Vienna Private University (WVPU) has announced that Prof. (FH) Dr. Armin Kammel, LL.M., MBA, a leading expert in banking law, financial regulation and international business law, has joined as visiting professor to lead the University’s new Law Department and upcoming Law program which is designed to prepare students for global legal careers in the corporate world, the financial industry and international organizations.

Kammel has been a WVPU adjunct faculty member since 2020 and in his new role he will continue to teach in the Business and Management Department while delivering the Law degree program at WVPU.

The forthcoming WVPU’s Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) programs will provide a comprehensive legal education focusing on comparative international business and financial law, equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to succeed in the modern legal landscape. The program will foster critical thinking, legal reasoning and research skills, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for law, business and international organizations careers.

Through the new Law program, WVPU students will engage in rigorous academic and practical training, covering comparative perspectives of both public and private law, understanding international legal frameworks and regulatory compliance. Through case studies, business simulations and faculty research, students develop problem-solving abilities and gain exposure to real-world legal challenges. The interdisciplinary, comparative, practical and international approach ensures that graduates understand the complexities of global legal practice.

Students who complete WVPU’s new law programs will be able to:

Graduates of the Law degrees from Webster Vienna Private University will be well-prepared for diverse legal and business careers.
