At Webster Vienna Private University (WVPU), we don’t just prepare students for global careers — we welcome them back as international changemakers.

Recently, Palais Wenkheim hosted a group of students from the University of Nebraska Omaha, led by alumna Dr. Sona Klucarova, Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Klucarova holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from Webster Vienna.

As part of her course, "Doing Business in Central Europe," Klucarova brought seven undergraduate and three MBA students on a study tour across Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. Their stop at WVPU offered an immersive snapshot of international business education in action.

The visit included an engaging lecture about conducting business in Austria, presented by department head Dr. Maria Madlberger. The admissions team led a campus tour and information session about WVPU’s academic offers.

The site visit concluded with a networking lunch that gave students the chance to connect informally with faculty from the Business and Management Department — demonstrating the open, collaborative spirit that defines WVPU’s learning environment.

This visit reflects WVPU’s global impact and how alumni continue to shape the future of international education by paying it forward.
